The Protector Twin

The Protector Twin

Maximum Control & Longevity

Premium

Best for: Large homes (2,500+ sq ft) with higher water demands.

Type
Separate filtration and softening tanks
Tanks
2 tanks + brine
Capacity
48,000 – 60,000 grains

Honest note: Two tanks means more equipment than The Protector. If your home is on the smaller side, the single-tank version may be all you need.

Why The Protector Twin?

If you have a larger home, a bigger family, or you just want the absolute best, the Protector Twin is it. Separate tanks mean each system is optimized for one job, which means better performance, higher flow rates, and longer media life. When multiple people are showering, the dishwasher is running, and someone's doing laundry, the Twin handles it all.

What you get

  • Separate dedicated tanks for filtration and softening
  • Higher flow rates than combo systems
  • Longer media life: each media does one job perfectly
  • Premium 10% crosslink resin for maximum durability
  • Bacteriostatic KDF media for added protection
  • Clack WS1 Protector Valve: precise metered control
  • NSF/ANSI 44, 61 & 372 certified
  • Made in USA

Ideal for

  • Large homes (2,500+ sq ft) with higher water demands
  • Families of 4+ who use a lot of water simultaneously
  • Homeowners who want the highest performance and longest media life
  • Anyone who wants the best system money can buy

How it works

The Protector Twin separates the two main treatment functions into dedicated tanks. Tank one is a high-capacity catalytic carbon filter that removes chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, THMs, pesticides, and other chemicals. Tank two is a premium water softener that removes hardness minerals through ion exchange. Each tank is dedicated to one job, so both perform at their peak: higher flow rates, longer media life, and better overall performance.

Upkeep

Add salt every 4–8 weeks for the softener tank. The carbon filtration tank requires minimal attention: media lasts for years.
